1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (hashed — we never store plain text passwords). This is the minimum required to create your account and personalise your learning experience.

Learning Activity

We track which courses you've started and completed, your quiz scores, paper trading activity, and platform usage patterns. This data is used solely to personalise your experience, save your progress, and improve our platform.

Technical Information

We collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, device type, and pages visited. This is used for security, debugging, and understanding how the platform is used.

Payment Information (Pro subscribers)

We do not store your card details. All payments are processed by our payment partners (Razorpay/Stripe). We only receive confirmation of successful payment and subscription status.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Deliver and personalise your learning experience
  • Save your course progress and paper trading portfolio
  • Send transactional emails (password reset, payment confirmation)
  • Send optional educational newsletters (you can unsubscribe anytime)
  • Improve platform features based on usage patterns
  • Prevent fraud and ensure platform security

We never sell your data to third parties. We never share your data with advertisers.

3. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete all your personal data within 30 days. Anonymised aggregate data (e.g., "X% of users complete Module 3") may be retained for platform analytics.

  • Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you
  • Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data
  • Portability: Export your learning data in a machine-readable format
  • Opt-out: Unsubscribe from non-transactional emails at any time

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for session management (keeping you logged in) and preference cookies for theme/language settings. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
